I was first introduced to automata about 30 years ago. I was wandering around Covent Garden, in London, and stumbled on an amazing place called Cabaret Mechanical Theatre. I fell in love. Sadly they don't have their gallery there anymore...I really miss it when I occasionally visit London...but they do hold exhibitions around the place. They have a website: http://www.cabaret.co.uk/
