I'll try to keep it reasonably brief

You'd be surprised at how long automata have been around. Suppose you could say they've been around as long as we have if you count God as the first craftsman, with Adam and Eve the first automata.

There have been some truly remarkable creations throughout history. Prepare to be amazed.
